The concept for this site has been in the works for years, but it took an army of women to encourage me to finally pull the trigger and start! That's actually indicative of the kind of space I want this to be... a place where women can ask questions, find answers, be validated about their concerns or choices... but also a place where we can push each other to be the best versions of ourselves and follow our passions, especially at work.

For too long I've said "I wish someone would have helped me figure out how to handle that!" as I've navigated the ups and downs of my career path. I don't in any way profess to be a career coach or an expert in all things work-related. In fact, that's kind of the point. There is no exact "right" way to ask for a raise, determine the next steps in your career, or how to handle a messy situation at work. Yet, it's my hope that in Livlyhood you can find some relief from the stresses at work, celebrate your success, and most importantly, find joy in the work you do every day.

Our careers are a part of our life, but they shouldn't be the only focus area. After all, livelihood is defined as supporting the necessities of life. I can't wait to share all of the content I've been working on and most importantly, feature some of the amazing women I've learned from who have taught me what really is necessary to live a full life.
